HOPE Dial-A-Ride offers accessible door-to-door transportation services for residents of the town of Yarmouth, Yarmouth County, and the Municipality of Argyle. Whether for medical appointments, personal errands, business meetings, social/recreational functions, or educational opportunities.

HOPE Dial A Ride offers door to door service (Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm) to residents of Yarmouth county needing affordable transportation for just about any reason. Call us at least 24 hours in advance of your travel plans and our dispatcher will work with you to help fulfill your request.

Our transportation services are available to anyone in Yarmouth town, the Municipality of Yarmouth, and the Municipality of Argyle who need transportation for virtually any reason.

HOPE is a registered charity and we offer charitable tax receipts when you make a donation to HOPE.

Q: What are your hours?
A: Hope Dial A Ride operates Monday-Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm.

Q: What type of vehicles do you use?
A: Dial A Ride has 7 modern passenger vans. Four are equipped to handle wheelchair passengers. Additionally, we have a 5 passenger mid-sized SUV for client travel around town or county region. 

Q: Do you travel to other communities?
A: Dial A Ride transports passengers from anywhere in Yarmouth county to places as far away as Halifax and all points in between. Prior reservations are required and additional advance notice may be required for these trips. 

Q: How much does it cost to travel with Dial A Ride?
A: Trips within the town of Yarmouth are $7.00 each way. Outside the town, prices are determined by distance travelled. Please contact us for your specific needs. Please note – There is an additional charge for handling wheelchairs and in some cases, there may be an additional charge for waiting time.
